IPA Cook Book Launched

The International Police Association (IPA) Cook Book is now available for download in English and Spanish on the IPA website at: IPA Cook Book

The idea of a cook book came from IPA Section USA member, Tom Ciurlik, and was supported by the IPA International Excutive Board (IEB). At a meeting in Ettal, Germany, the idea was discussed and Eija Aspholm, an IPA International Cultural Commission (ICC) member, volunteered to progress the project.

A request "IPA Cook Book needs recipes!" was put on Facebook and also sent to each IPA Section in June, 2013. These recipes have now been collated and the IPA Cook Book was launched. The book includes recipes from the following 14 sections: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom (Northern Ireland) and USA.

The French and German versions are still in progress.

Eija Aspholm said, "I would like to thank Satu Sammallahti-Visser, Manel Castellvi, Patric Louis and Stephen Crockard for their support and work during this project. They have done a great job! We hope you enjoy using the IPA Cook Book. Bon Appétit!"

Please note: If you would like to translate the cookbook into your own language, the front and back covers of the IPA Cook Book must remain the same in each language version. All other pages of the book can be translated into any language of the IPA Sections.
